Material properties
① Excellent corrosion resistance equivalent to 304 stainless steel.
② Between 427~816℃, it can inhibit the formation of chromium carbide, resist sensitization, and has good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
③ In a strong oxidation environment with a high temperature of 816℃, it still has a certain creep strength.
④ It is easy to be extended and welded.
⑤ Good low temperature toughness.
Overall, the performance of 347 stainless steel is similar to 321 (304 plus Ti) and better than 321; 347H has a higher carbon content, and its creep strength and high temperature strength are further strengthened compared to 347.
Application Environment
The high temperature performance of 347&347H stainless steel is better than 304 and 321. It is widely used in aviation, petrochemical, food, paper and other industries, such as exhaust manifolds and branch pipes of aero engines, hot gas pipelines of turbo compressors, and under small loads and temperatures not exceeding 850℃ Parts that work under conditions.
